Since his start at Hofstra, Connor has become a force to be reckoned within the a cappella community. As a student, he music directed The Hofbeats for 2.5 years, and was a large part of their success, leading them to their first Quarterfinal victory in the 2018 ICCA tournament. He started his post-grad a cappella journey as the production apprentice of Jacob Tourjeman with The Vocal Company (TVC), known for its award-winning a cappella work. With TVC, he was a production contractor for over a year and worked on groups such as The Nor'easters, The Vassar Devils, Faux Paz, Aquapella and many more. Recently, Connor started his own company entitled Martin Music Productions that specializes in a variety of different recording and music production services.

Aside from music production, he is a frequent judge for the International Competition of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA) and has dozens of arrangements for contemporary a cappella and choir, including one that garnered an ICCA Outstanding Arrangement Award. He is the co-founder, bass, and music director of Black to Gold, a pro a-cappella group formed in 2019.

As a composer, Connor co-wrote a musical with Christine Harvey entitled With or Without You that made its off-broadway debut in May 2019 at Theatre Row NYC. The cast album for the show was recorded, edited, mixed and mastered entirely by Connor, and is now available on all streaming platforms. The show was a finalist for the Rave Musical Theater Festival in 2020 before it was cancelled due to COVID-19. He also has composed music for a few short films with student film-makers.

Aside from recording, percussion, composition and a cappella, he loves to workshop and educate high school and middle school musicians and is a proud member of Evoco Voice Collective. He also enjoys watching football and baseball, The Good Place, traveling, and spending time with his family, his girlfriend, and his cats.
